    Helpful Tips For Using Email

    2014 - 07.21

When you are marketing your business on the internet, you have to make sure that you interact with your customers and clients. One excellent way to do this is to have an email marketing plan that keeps you in touch with your target market; here are some smart ways to make your plan a great one.

Be sure to put the logo of your product or business in the email. This way, customers will become familiar with the logo and associate it with your company. It is best if the logo is something that will catch the reader’s eye and be easy for them to remember it.

If you have a client who has a birthday, make sure that you send a follow up email that includes a happy birthday message on it. Include a request on the email that tells this person to go to a particular place. The ending can include a link that tells him or her that it is possible to become a subscriber by clicking on it.

Try using various kinds of resources and learning all you can about email marketing. You may find many books online and in libraries. There is surely a course or workshop in your area that can help as well.

Use A/B testing to see which emails are successful and which ones aren’t. Pick one email then send one half of them with one subject line and the other half of them with a different subject line. This allows you to determine which subject lines lead to subscribers opening your emails, and which get deleted without a second thought.

Be prepared to respond to emails if your email marketing is done properly. If you take too long to respond, you may miss a bunch of opportunities. If you provide good content that is free, be prepared to get responses to it from your recipients. You must be prepared and available as much as you can.

Include a link at the bottom of any marketing emails that allows people to unsubscribe easily. If someone does not want to receive your messages, providing a simple way for them to unsubscribe is preferable to ending up in their spam folder. It will also help to protect your reputation as a business that respects its customers.

Capture the attention of your readers with the right subject line. You might want to se from 30 to 50 characters and create a sense of urgency. The subject line should give an indication of what the reader can expect once they open the email. Including an attractive incentive will increase the interest of recipients.

When developing an email marketing campaign, you must make your material look professional. If it does not look professional, customers will pass over it without paying any attention at all. There are plenty of scams and junk emails going around, and your legitimate marketing campaign must stand out as something they want to look further into.

To improve your email reading rates, offer subscribers the option of seeing your newsletters in either plain text or HTML. Too many companies send their emails out in only one format, discouraging their less tech-savvy readers or alternately disappointing readers that expect a more dynamic presentation. Offering every newsletter in both formats makes it more accessible.

The subject is one of the most important parts of your e-mail. If you do not have a subject that immediately grabs the reader’s attention, it is likely that they will not bother to read the e-mail at all. The best written e-mails can be completely worthless without a compelling subject. Make sure that all of your subjects are great!

When you’ve determined your email’s frequency, make it into a schedule. Set the times and dates of when you have to send your recipients your emails. It doesn’t matter if you send an email daily or monthly, sticking to a schedule can keep you organized and can allow your recipients to know when they can receive your emails.

One way to keep your email readers engaged is to ask them questions. These should not be rhetorical questions, either. Provide a feedback channel they can use to send you answers. You could ask for direct replies via email, or send your readers to your social networking pages. However you arrange it, asking for two-way communication is a great way to cultivate loyalty in your subscribers.

Research shows that there are three emails that are the most important. The first offers an introduction and invitation to sign up and give permission to receive further communication. The second presents the customer with specific expectations such as coupons, discount offers or newsletters. The third email would deliver those expectations in the form of the discounts and other incentives.

Make your emails concise. No one wants to read through a number of paragraphs when several would have sufficed. People don’t have much time these days, and you could become persona non grata in their email boxes if you don’t appreciate the time crunch that most people have to deal with these days.

You want your sales list to be highly targeted. The best way for you to do this is to build the list around your most reliable customers and their close contacts. If you can make your email list seem exclusive, your clients will feel flattered instead of spammed.

Include an audit memo on the follow-up emails that you send to your clients. Paste a link on your message that tells them to download this right now. The ending postscript could convince these clients that now is the time for them to experience success, and they can do so by following the link provided.

Interacting with your customers and clients is the best way to get them to buy your products or services. A good email marketing plan can help you with that. Follow the tips in this article, and you will be able to convey information while building a relationship with your target market.

    Author Karen Valandra Builds Childrens

    2014 - 07.20

    Spokane, Wash. May 13, 2014

As a former teacher, author Karen Valandra witnessed several cases of bullying. For her, bullying is an unacceptable behavior that needs to be corrected. In her picture book, ?Pebble,? she discourages bullying and instills responsibility lessons within young readers.

?Pebble? tells the story of Travis, a boy who needs confidence. One day, he finds a piece of smooth granite and decides to take it home. Travis names the stone Pebble. Pebble becomes his friend and constant companion. When Travis has a problem, Pebble gives him the courage he needs to make good decisions. Pebble, on the other hand, enjoys Travis? company. He likes it when Travis puts him in the pocket before he goes to school. He loves their adventures together and with Travis, he feels safe and comfortable.

Written for children, ?Pebble? is a story of how a lonely stone finally finds genuine friendship. The book teaches young readers about life and making good decisions. In one of the duo?s adventures, Travis encounters a friend being bullied. He defended him and drove the bully away. This scenario encourages confidence and lets children know it is alright to speak up, especially in supporting and helping others.

Aside from bullying, author Valandra uses ?Pebble? as an example of how difficulties develop people?s character and their ability to face life?s trials. Travis came to this realization when his teacher, Mr. Wolf, told him about Pebble?s beginnings. According to Mr. Wolf, ?Pebble didn?t start out just fitting in someone?s hand all smooth and round like he is today. He used to have sharp sides and pointed edges. He was just a large piece of gravel at one time.?

Like Pebble, people also start with rough edges. The problems they encounter will teach them lessons and eventually, they will become smooth stones.

Packed with endearing illustrations and adventures, Valandra brings a pebble to life in this picture book!

    Self Help Tips Everyone Could

    2014 - 07.19

The act of deciding to become a better person is a big step toward fulfilling your life. Everyone knows that there are ways to improve their lives whether it is coping better with day-to-day stresses or trying to improve your communications with your loved ones or colleagues. The fact that you are internalizing your actions is enough to pat yourself on the back because it proves that you have a good soul. Here are some ideas that might inspire you to act on your good intentions to improve yourself.

See your own potential shine by taking on challenges. Life is full of challenges. It is unlikely that you will have it easy and safe all of the time. However, challenges show you what you are really made of. Don’t be afraid of challenges, face them with courage and use your inner strength to get you through them.

Try to reshape the way you think by using catchphrases. By keeping certain ideas at the front of your mind, you can begin applying them to the way you think everyday. Popular catchphrases include “Say yes,” “Fake it ’till you feel it,” and many others. Using these can help you think and feel better.

A key to success is learning how to take personal responsibility for mistakes. Instead of playing the blame game, acknowledge your mistakes, learn from them than move on. Taking personal responsibility for your actions is actually very liberating. You will soon feel like you are the one in charge of your own future and it will be easier to make decisions.

Exercise is a great way to focus yourself. Studies have shown that the connection between a healthy body and positive emotions are tied together. Activities such as running can release endorphins which in turn increase overall happiness. Exercise also helps to regulate the body’s bowel functions, providing a strictly physical benefit as well.

Face your fears and triumph over them. Many people let their fears control them and these fears manifest into more fears, worries and anxieties. You must learn to face your fears and get to the root of why they have control over you. Once you do this, you will find yourself conquering your fears.

Remember there are often consequences to inaction. Whether we elect to pay our bills late or turn in a project for work two days past the deadline, most often there are negative consequences for our inaction. We might just have to pay a small monetary penalty on the bill, but the late project could mean we are passed up for the next promotion.

Working on your personal growth? Take control – banish negative thoughts! Having the right mindset can make the difference between succeeding and being your own worst enemy. Train yourself to think positively! You will need a rubber band. Place the band around your wrist – make sure it’s not too tight – and every time you catch yourself thinking negatively, snap it! It will hurt, and you will soon find yourself avoiding negative thinking at all costs!

Practice assuming responsibility for your actions rather than immediately assigning blame to another party in a conflict. This forces you to hold yourself accountable for your reactions and responses. Rather than saying, “You make me so mad when you do that!” consider saying this instead: “I get very angry when you _______ because I feel that ________.” This version clearly states the source of conflict and why you are reacting.

To really develop as a person, study change. Look for change in your environment and watch how it happens. When you begin to understand change, you will begin honing your capabilities to adapt to any situation and be more prepared in your own life to face your own challenges.

A reflection journal is a great way to improve your life in a healthy way. Writing about your day and the way your life is going is very therapeutic, and often people write in their journals what they cannot say in person to everyone. Therefore, it is a way to systematically not keep things bottled up inside.

When faced by something you are overwhelmed by, you should strive to do your best. Divide a task into smaller tasks if necessary. Establish your goals and plans carefully so that you always know what the next step is. Once you have accomplished something you thought you could not, your confidence should improve.

When interacting with people, you should be gentle and yet know when to be strong. Do your best to treat people nicely on a daily basis to make friends and create a good atmosphere. When someone gets in the way of your goals, make them understand firmly that you disagree with them.

A great tip for personal development is to figure out your bad principles and aim to correct them. Attitudes, habits, and values are the essential ingredients of principles. If you are deficient in one of these areas, then you are deficient in your principles. Correcting your principles is a step toward improving yourself.

Stop living in the past. The past is full of memories, but you can’t change any of them. Spending too much time on what used to be only, stifles your personal development. By letting go of the past, you open your hands for whatever the future brings. Your life has to start now so that the future can unfold.

Acceptance of failure is a necessity of personal growth. Try as we might, we don’t always succeed. So one needs to be able to deal with failure. That means accepting that things did not go as planned and refusing to allow that fact to impede one’s progress. Look honestly at the factors that led to the failure and find a way to go forward in spite of the set back.

So now is the time to act on your inner-thoughts of self-improvement. You have decided that it is time to grow from within and the sooner you begin the journey to becoming a better version of yourself, the better you will feel and live life to it’s fullest. Open your eyes to a newer and brighter future.
